Strictly Come Dancing: Who is in the final?

Another year, another Strictly Come Dancing final.

This Saturday (19 December) sees the remaining celebrities perform for the final time in the hope of securing the coveted Glitterball trophy.

But who is in the running for victory?

First up, there’s EastEnders star Maisie Smith, whose journey to the final has been a tumultuous one.

While continually impressing the judges each week, Smith found herself in the bottom two a number of times throughout the series.

The 19-year-old seems to have found favour, though, and will have a fighting chance of winning alongside Gorka Márquez, going into the last episode.

Jamie Laing has certainly made his mark on the BBC show, one year after he was forced to drop out due to an injury; his replacement, soap star Kelvin Fletcher, ended up winning the series.

Presenter HRVY, 21, was an immediate favourite when he first graced the stage at the beginning of this year’s series.  Alongside Janette Manrara, he has been a favourite among the judges and viewers alike, and will be a tough competitor to beat.

Then there’s Bill Bailey, the comedian who, after a wobbly first week, has surprised viewers with his impressive dance moves. He’s been one of the year’s most consistent performers, aided by Oti Mabuse, and has sailed through the series without ever being in the bottom two.
