Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson has revealed the secret to her washboard abs – and it’s more simple than you’d expect.
The reality TV star isn’t shy about sharing pictures of her toned body on social media, and has even appeared on the cover of Women’s Health to share how she transformed her physique.
Louise (27) told the magazine that the secret to her athletic figure is simple, saying: “I only eat when I’m hungry.”
The socialite said that she only eats food that has a nutritional benefit, so pizza and white bread is out of the question.
“But no crap. I don’t eat anything that doesn’t have any nutritional benefit, so I don’t eat crisps or pizza or white bread and I rarely have pasta.
“And I know they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I don’t believe that.
“Just eat when you’re hungry, otherwise you’re putting extra stuff into your body when it doesn’t need it. So I skip breakfast, work out, then have big lunches and dinners.
Louise, who is in a relationship with personal trainer Ryan Libbey, emphasised that she still enjoys the occasional treat once in a while, but always ensures that she exercises in conjunction with what she’s eating.
“Ryan and I love puddings. A nice soufflé.
“But we’re both in very good athletic shape so, as your body becomes more efficient, you can metabolise food a lot quicker.
“Also, if you stop eating, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Your muscles need the nutrition to grow. But only increase the food if you’re increasing the exercise.”
