Cristiano Ronaldo feels “blesssed” as he shared a heartwarming picture of his growing family.
The Real Madrid superstar (31) welcomed twins Eva and Mateo last month and it looks like little Cristiano Jr (seven) is getting the swing of his new role as big brother as he cradled Mateo in the sun-soaked picture.
As was the case with his first son Cristiano Jnr, there has been plenty of media speculation over the identity of the mother of Ronaldo’s latest arrivals, who are believed to have come from a surrogate mother in the US.
And he might be a fourth time father as it’s been rumoured that his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez is also expecting after she was pictured with a “baby bump” while on holidays with her other half. He has not commented on the claims.
After Portugal’s defeat to Chile in the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup, he confirmed the news of the new arrivals after weeks of speculation.
“I was in the service of the national team, as always, body and soul, even though my two children were born,” he wrote on Facebook.
In December, Ronaldo said he said his son’s happiness is his primary concern and always encourages him to “be yourself and be polite”.
“There are people who sometimes say to him that “there is another player who is better than your father”, but he knows how to deal with that,” he told ON TV.
“He is a smart boy, like me. I often tell him ‘be yourself and be polite’. I know that he will go through periods of adversity as there are jealous people out there, but I see him as a happy child.”
