Kylie Minogue is reportedly preparing to release a new disco-inspired album in November.

According to The Sun, the Australian pop star will debut new single “Say Something” this Thursday (23 July) ahead of the launch of her 15th studio album.

The record was described as a “disco classic” that will mark a departure from Minogue’s last country-inspired album Golden, which topped the UK album charts following its 2018 release.

It comes as rumoured information about the album appeared on social media on Tuesday (21 July) after “leaking” on Amazon Italy.

The new album is allegedly titled Disco and will be released on 6 November, although this is yet to be confirmed by Minogue’s representatives. The Independent has approached them for comment.

In May, Minogue, 52, revealed that she had been recording new music from her living room during lockdown, saying: “I’ve been really busy, setting up a home studio (AKA, my lounge room!) and learning so much about remote recording.

“It’s been a steep learning curve for all the team as there are technical obstacles to navigate but I’m so thankful to be able to continue work on my album in this way. I’ve been riding the emotional wave along with the rest of the world, but creativity has been a big help,” she said.
