Caitlyn Jenner left viewers heartbroken after exiting I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! and not being greeted by friends or family.
The television personality last night (6 December) became the seventh star to leave the jungle, but fans couldn’t help but notice that no one was there to greet her upon her departure. Eliminated stars are often met by their loved ones after walking out of the jungle across the famous I’m a Celeb rope bridge.
“NOBODY greeted Caitlyn at the bridge? That’s so f***ing heartbreaking,” one person tweeted.
Another tweet read: “Her family must think they are far too important and famous to come support her! Shows money doesn’t mean anything! Would rather be skint with the family I have.”
“No one came to greet Caitlyn?” read another. “All those family members and friends and no one showed up!”
Jenner was eliminated from the ITV reality series alongside Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle.
In her exit interview, Jenner said that she found her experience on the show much harder than when she previously competed on the American version of the series in 2003.
“[I missed my family] terribly,” she said. “It gets very complicated around Christmas time. It’s actually easier being in the jungle.”
She added that she would like radio presenter Roman Kemp to win the show.
Kemp is fighting it out to become the show’s 2019 champion alongside TV presenter Kate Garraway, EastEnders actor Jacqueline Jossa and Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment. The show’s finale is on Sunday night.
