Beyoncé just made Grammys history – but who has won the most Grammy awards?

With her Grammy 2021 win for Best Rap Song (for her feature on Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Savage” remix), and her win for Best R&B Song for “Black Parade”, Beyoncé became the most decorated woman in Grammys history.

The iconic singer now has won a total of 28 Grammy awards, topping the 27 Grammys that Alison Krauss has won.

Earlier in the evening, Beyoncé won Best Music Video for “Brown Skin Girl”, which she shares with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who is now the second youngest person to ever win a Grammy.

“As an artist I believe it’s my job, and all of our jobs, to reflect time and it’s been such a difficult time,” Beyoncé said while accepting her award for Best R&B Song.

She continued, saying that she created the song to honor the “beautiful Black kings and queens” in the world.
